Participants Needed

Hello! I'm working on some special pieces currently, and diving into planning future work. To do so, I need help from kind and generous people to model for me. This work is intended to extend the Light of Christ to others, and highlight the experience of followers of Him.

Location: the greater Raleigh area, North Carolina

An outdoor location will be arranged

Time: Tentatively Sunday May 18th

Roles I need filled include:

• Children and youth- reaching broad ethnic backgrounds

  • 3-5 children under the age of 8

  • 4-8 children between the age of 8-11

  • 2-3 youth between ages of 12-15

• Representing Christ:

  • between approximately 130-180 lbs

  • between ages 25 - 40

  • someone who embodies love, cares for all people, and has a strong belief in Jesus Christ (of any denomination)

  • open to all skin tones-- considering things such as historical accuracy, conceived of fair middle eastern mother and a divine Father, as well as multi-cultural connection.

• Women and Men of diverse ethnic background- all ages

Participation Interest: Please email studio@samanthanewton.com breifly telling me about interested child, youth, or adult and include a photo

• Models participating in group photos are offered a modest gift from my art studio as compensation for participating.

• Models portraying Christ may choose a $50 compensation in place of print gift, if desired.

• All models (or their legal guardian) will sign an agreement giving me legal permission to paint, exhibit and reproduce the work created using the reference photos,
